Position Profile:

Principal Employee Relations Consultant (Permanent)This role develops, contributes to, coordinates, and implements policies, procedures, and strategies for managing employee relations.

It provides specialist advice, representation, information, negotiation, conciliation, and interpretations on employee relations matters.
Additionally, it facilitates the resolution of complex and contentious workplace grievances and disputes.

This position reports to the Manager People and Culture and will provide direct advice and oversight of employee and industrial matters managed by a team of HR consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Position - Principal Employee Relations Consultant Criteria to be addressed in written submission Selection Criteria 2: Demonstrated high-level problem-solving skills with an ability to achieve outcomes and the ability to establish appropriate resolution strategies to complex disputes and workplace relations issues, including change management.


Selection Criteria 4:
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to draft briefings, correspondence and reports.

Selection Criteria 5:

Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence and achieve industrial outcomes, and resolve conflict including advocacy experience at a senior level.
