We are recruiting a Planner and Scheduler to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.

The Role


The Planner, reporting into the Project Controls Manager, will be based in our newly created Defence Hub in North Sydney, supporting National sites and locations.

Working closely with the Lead Planner, this role is responsible for:

  • Manage and oversee all planning and scheduling maintenance activities, including developing, maintaining an optimisation of Preventative Maintenance schedule
  • Work closely with various project stakeholders to facilitate efficient maintenance scheduling, ensuring availability of resources and labour
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance activities and implement best practices in planning, scheduling, and project controls
  • Utilise the CMMS for work orders, requests, and equipment history records
  • Regular reporting on progress, risks and solutions to any potential delays or issues

On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team:

  • Degree qualified (Engineering, Business, or similar) or relevant trade qualification and experience
  • Proven industry experience, preferably oil and gas or another similar highrisk environment
  • Working experience using CMMS and proficient in scheduling tools, preferably SAP (FSM highly regarded)
  • Ability and willingness to be innovative and strive for continuous improvement and system optimisation
  • Holds, or can obtain, appropriate security clearance
