The Surgical Orthopaedic Assessment Unit team are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Post Operative Discharge Support Service) to join them.
Permanent Full Time and Part Time positions available, hrs negotiableThe Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population.

ThePost Operative Discharge Support Service
(PODSS) model is a nurse-led model that targets undifferentiated multi-specialty surgical post-operative patients in need of medical support/intervention. This will be a mixed model with telehealth consultations and in-person hospital attendance. PODSS provides care to patients up to 30 days post-operatively.
