About the role


Equans is seeking an experienced and professional
Human Resource Advisor with a focus on industrial and employment relations to provide expert and efficient advice and recommend solutions to our key stakeholders and high-performing teams across VIC.

This is a part-time role, up to 20 hours/week over 4 days (flexible arrangements on offer).

You will support the Equans employee relations strategy, business plans and objectives and partner with leaders to provide solutions to complex IR/ER issues.

You will be pragmatic in approach and responsible for uplifting stakeholder knowledge and understanding, providing key insights across HR data and analytics and reporting by making recommendations to improve decision making across our valued workforce.


Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, you will**:

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across VIC to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to employee relations matters.
  • Identify trends and potential ER issues and design proactive interventions and solutions.
  • Provide support and coaching to key stakeholders to support daytoday issues and grievances.
  • Provide analytical, interpretive information as to financial and legal impacts to changes across Enterprise Agreements, manage relationships with unions, provide consultative support and advice regarding workplace changes, policy reviews, risk management and IR legislative reforms.

About you

  • Tertiary qualified in human resources/employees relations other or relevant discipline
  • Experience working in a HR role with significant experience across a range of industrial bodies, employment legislation and industrial frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships with stellar stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Results driven with the ability to learn new systems and technology, a team player and enjoy contributing ideas in a collaborative culture.
