Job Description:


War Memorial Hospital (WMH) is a 3rd Schedule Aged Rehabilitation hospital, situated in Waverley, owned and operated by Uniting and part of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD).

Services are comprised of 24 hour inpatient care, Monday to Friday outpatient departments, several specialist community teams inclusive of Transitional Aged Care, Aged Care Assessment Team, Geriatric Flying Squad, Young Onset Dementia, 7 day a week day centre, 24 hour accommodation service for regional guests and the full range of hospital support services.

It is set within beautiful tranquil grounds and is a well-supported team environment. We are inviting applications from suitably qualified finance professionals to join our dynamic team.


The Business & Performance Manager is responsible for all aspects of the financial resources for WMH and the MSIC, ensuring that the services make the most effective and efficient use of funding with a high level of business performance.

In addition, the position is responsible for ensuring that all financial reporting obligations, including Activity Based Management Reporting, Public Health Accounts and Auditing, budgeting and internal financial and management reporting requirements, are accurate and timely.

The Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) was the first medically supervised injecting centre operating within Australia. It is funded by NSW Health and operates with the support of police and the local community.

Located in Sydney's Kings Cross the service offers a practical and pragmatic response to drug injecting by minimising the harm associated with it until a person is ready and able to address their issues.

This position is a permanent full time role.
