THE OPPORTUNITY

Based out of our Pilings site, near Port Huon, this role plays an integral part in providing infrastructure to all our sites. The projects team is a hands-on team that is responsible for rolling out projects such as new pen set-ups and assisting with maintenance on Zone infrastructure.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position you will enjoy working on the water and have the ability to work as part of a small and existing team. You will possess a strong work ethic, well-developed communication skills, be available to work a 4 days on, 3 days off roster and have a valid driver's licence. A copy of your driver's licence must be submitted upon application.

Successful applicants must be willing to travel to our farm sites located in Dover, Margate and Strahan on occassions.

Experience in a similar role, marine farm or aquaculture experience and a coxswain's ticket are desirable but not essential.

It is an inherent requirement of this position that work be performed safely whilst upholding Huon's Values. The appointed person must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of work health and safety regulations is preferred.
