This key role provides the link between sales, warehouse, customer service, transport, and supply chain production and imports to align all facets of business performance. This includes implementing operational and business processes to deliver safely and plans in quality and quantity to meet the growing needs of our distribution partners and end users.
This role is crucial to creating and sustaining a high-performance environment where team members strive for excellence. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Your previous positive stakeholder management will stand you in good stead as you work closely with our supply chain partners to ensure their expectations, KPIs & SLAs are exceeded. You are commercially astute and experienced with budgets and financial reporting, having had full operational and P&L responsibilities.
We are seeking a current or emerging leader to join our highly skilled, industry leading team. Providing you with the platform to utilise your skills and aligning our visions will help make this an extremely satisfying and rewarding role. The multi-faceted component of importing, production, value adding, multiple site, supplier management, forecasting and complete supply chain management will help develop your skills. Strong interaction with the CEO and Founder whilst integrating into the team will enable you to grow as a person while developing and improving company performance.
- Provide timely reports regarding the efficiency and service delivery of the company manufacturing department.
- In consultation with CEO, develop a strategic plan for continuous improvement of the company manufacturing department.
- Appropriately develop a professional and sincere rapport with customers, suppliers and service providers, especially contractors.
- Organize and manage contractors at production sites to ensure ongoing productivity, work safety and best practice.
- Demonstrate effective outcomes in customer service, product quality and cost controls for raw materials, contractor terms, transport, and supply chain management.
- Ensure Stock is properly managed and effectively controlled at all production sites, warehouses and consignment locations.
- Manage supply chains from raw materials, end products from suppliers, through production sites, storage locations to end-users.
- Forward Plan and Update production requirements in close consultation with the Sales and Production teams.
- Attend and Successfully Network and Report on Industry Functions and Conferences as requested.
- Initiate and participate in product and new product development with a particular emphasis on raw materials, machinery, process flow, costing and distribution.
- Manage the regulatory requirements of Company raw materials and products.
- Maintain and promote excellent communication levels between all departments in the company to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
