We have an exciting opportunity for a Plastic Welder to join a hands-on, dynamic team at our Whale Point site near Port Huon on a fulltime basis – no experience required
ABOUT THE ROLE
With a focus on following work health and safety regulations, you will play an integral part in providing infrastructure to all of Huon's sites.
Reporting to the Pens & Projects Manager, you will:
Assist with maintenance on Zone infrastructure, including the use of large plant and equipment. Build and set up new pens. Assist with general marine projects work as and when required. Maintain accurate and timely records. Work a 4 on, 3 off roster.ABOUT YOU
You enjoy working on the water, demonstrate the ability to work in a team with a strong work ethic, and have:
Strong communication skills and attention to detail. The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. The willingness and ability to travel to farm sites located in Dover, Margate and Strahan on occasions. A current driver's licence – this must be submitted upon application.Knowledge of WHS regulations is preferred and it is an inherent requirement that you work in a safe manner. Experience in a similar role and a coxswain's ticket is desirable but not essential – all required training will be provided.
