What You Will Be Doing
This role contributes to a team of Health Promotion Practitioners serving the Frankston-Mornington Peninsula catchment.
The Health Promotion team works across identified health and wellbeing priority areas and population groups as determined by local population health data.
The team takes a place based approach, enabling and supporting the implementation of sustainable health promotion initiatives and collaboratively strengthening the capacity of the catchment regarding health promotion.
The role is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives, using a variety of actions including community engagement, social marketing, health policy and environmental strategies.

We anticipate you will have:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Health Promotion, Health Science, Public Health or related discipline such as dietetics.
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and commitment to contemporary health promotion approaches, evidenceinformed practice, systems thinking, innovation and weight inclusive practice.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in health promotion planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- An ability to find and interpret population health data.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current Victorian drivers licence.
