About the Opportunity:


As a Community Performance Officer, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and evaluating community engagement and social investment strategies across southern Queensland.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams to ensure net positive outcomes for our existing and future host communities, contributing to projects that range from the Swanbank Future Clean Energy Hub to new and proposed assets.


This will include:

  • Deliver community engagement in line with CleanCo's values and best practices
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate community engagement and social investment strategies for the Swanbank and Wivenhoe sites
  • Support the development and delivery of the Swanbank Community Masterplan
  • Work on strategies for new and proposed projects at all stages of development
  • Support Power Purchasing Agreement partners to achieve positive community outcomes
  • Coordinate and attend community events and forums, particularly in the Ipswich and Somerset Council areas, with some travel required to the western Darling Downs
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with corporate and community stakeholders
  • Travel frequently between our Wivenhoe and Swanbank Power Stations

About you:

  • Experience in planning and delivering community and stakeholder engagement for complex projects
  • Knowledge of social impact assessment and management
  • Familiarity with FPIC principles and experience working with First Nation communities
  • Commitment to access and inclusion, with strategies to engage hardtoreach groups
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute broadly.
  • Understanding of information distribution and confidentiality requirements
  • You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
