Combine your

cycling passion and

business intelligence to drive the growth and engagement of the

International Cycling Executives (ICE) Sydney Community, in line with strategic and commercial objectives.

International Cycling Executives (ICE) were founded in 2012 and are a growing member based global business network for senior leaders, predominantly from large to medium listed companies - who share a passion for cycling.

As a member centric organisation, ICE run a series of events connecting members and corporate partners over morning bike rides followed by relationship building sessions and business breakfast briefings discussing topics that are high on the executive agenda or featuring insights from members who have created a significant industry or market impact.

We have experienced exponential growth as people placed health and authentic relationships as one of their top priorities. Equally, companies are looking at aligning their brands with other organisations and initiatives that promote health and wellbeing.

In short we create a platform for members to make 'connecting' easier and healthier for senior executives, allowing them active and engaging ways to build authentic personal and professional relationships.

Our community and team value a healthy, active lifestyle allowing us to stay connected and enjoy success, whilst navigating life and business challenges

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

We are searching for an individual who is excited to take on a unique opportunity that combines their passion for cycling with their corporate or elite sporting background, and their desire to assist in growing a community of senior executives unlike any other in the market.

Members are at the heart of ICE, and as such your role is pivotal in shaping the future of the Sydney ICE Community.

You will report to our APAC Community Director and work closely and collaboratively with our Head of Sales and Event Manager to ensure membership growth is aligned to strategic and commercial objectives.

With outstanding communication, EQ, and confidence to engage with senior level executives, you will be responsible for membership growth, engagement, and experience.

The core requirements of your role are:
-
Community Growth:

- o Meeting member number and revenue targets through acquisition and retention.
- o Curating membership ratios based on strict eligibility criteria.

-
Community Management:

- o Shaping the member experience and uncovering business intelligence through regular member contact to support and evolve the corporate partnership sales and event programme.
- o Regularly meeting with members on and off the bike.

-
Programme Support & Evolution:

- o Attending ICE events on and off the bike, with early morning rides across Sydney.
- o Seek and verify business or leadership topics of interest from the community to help shape formal events. Motivating select members to attend key events as either VIP guests or panellists.
- o Collaborate with the broader team to form local variations to the model to generate deeper, 'stickier 'membership engagement.

WHO ARE YOU?

Overall skills needed:

  • Experience in a targeted sales environment, and experience in recruitment highly desirable.
  • Ability to regularly ride a bike at an intermediate or advanced level, with often early morning rides.
  • Natural 'connector', relationship facilitator, with intelligent and sophisticated people interaction skills.
  • Selfdriven, selfmotivated, problem solver with high attention to detail.
  • Experience working with or collaborating with marketing & communications functions.
  • An excellent communicator with great public speaking and writing skills.
  • Selfassured, confident speaking and interacting with Senior Level Executives.
  • Techsavvy, good with social media, creative and can think outside the box.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Full Time position, competitive salary based on experience.
  • Collaborative environment in a small, dedicated team.
  • Opportunity to innovate, challenge the norm and facilitate outstanding member experiences.
  • Variety of work where you are encouraged to ride with ICE members outdoors
  • Make a difference within an exclusive member community of senior leaders.
