Cafs Family Support program area offers a suite of evidenced based, children and family support programs that cater from early intervention through to statutory based reunification and placement prevention programs.

As the Manager Family Support you are responsible for leading the program areas of Family Services and Disability Case Management, Family Preservation & Reunification (Keeping Families Together), Early Childhood (Parenting and Skill Development Service - PASDS and Access to Early Learning), Early Help (case management and parenting education) and Family Relationships (Cafs Children's Contact Service, Family Relationship Counselling and Post Separation Cooperative Parenting Program).

You will lead these programs through a strong focus on family preservation (or reunification where needed), while remaining child centred and family focused. Service delivery to families is provided through a variety of forms, including individual, family and group work. A strong focus on the educational and developmental needs of children will also be provided, including services specifically for children with a disability.

As the manager, you will build expertise in delivering services to infants, children, and young people, ensuring a focus across the developmental age range.

  • Your highly developed cultural awareness and sensitivity, partnered with excellent communication skills, will enable you to build strong relationships, with our stakeholders.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology or relevant field.
