  • Accountable for the weekend leadership of the Cross Dock and Rail Handling teams.
  • Ensuring weekend logistics schedule is executed to plan safely, efficiently and to targeted service and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the weekday Warehouse Managers ensuring approriate handover
  • Provide guidance and oversight to the warehouse team across the Weekend shift as they execute the daily operational plan to sustainably meet agreed KPI's in Safety, Efficiency, Quality and customer service
  • Inventory control in line with agreed standards, evidenced through audited reports including Warehouse space utilization.
  • Responsible for site security
  • Effective management of relationships both internally and externally.

You will demonstrate:

  • Suitable qualifications in Logistics and Management.
  • Previous experience in managing a warehouse desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy including MS Office suite.
  • Excellent understanding of warehousing systems such as WMS and SAP.
  • Excellent Customer Management skills
  • Analytical skills suitable for this position
  • Qualification in logistics desirable
