As an Avionics Engineer in the Army, you'll get to open up and work on some of Australia's most advanced helicopters.

You'll work with an experienced team of experts and be responsible for planning, installing and maintaining the flight control, electrical, avionics and communications systems on the Eurocopter Tiger and CH47 Chinook.

Going forward, you'll have a range of opportunities to travel overseas, plus contribute to large-scale operations on new aircraft.

While studying your salary will depend on the completion status of your course, however, on completion of your degree, initial military and employment training, you could earn: $90,629 per annum plus a generous super.

For this role, you must have completed at least six months of a four-year electrical, electronics or mechatronics engineering degree, be an Australian citizen and will be required to successfully obtain a security clearance.
