Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients, our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks, fintech's and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers

We are looking for an Operational Engagement Manager to join our Product and Services department.The focus of this role is to facilitate harmonious relationships and problem-solving efforts across Cuscal, its suppliers and or third-party providers. This role covers the proactive engagement of core banking partners and other third-party vendors that Cuscal has contractual relationships with where collaboration is needed.

This is a standalone role that requires extensive and practical experience of vendor relationship management.

Role responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Build and maintain positive vendor and supplier relationships
  • Lead the development and maintain positive and effective relationships with business partners.
  • Ensure that business partners are consistently and effectively engaged in relation to production events, upcoming changes, and any matters relevant to them
  • Keep business partners fully informed about planned production events and upgrades other suppliers, Technology and Product Services to ensure such events are rolled out successfully with no unplanned client impact
  • Consistently identify opportunities for improved cooperation and collaboration with business partners to improve the overall client experience
  • Meet with all the key suppliers on a fortnightly or monthly basis with key internal stakeholders to discuss and resolve any open matters of discussion
  • Minute the meetings and assign appropriate actions, follow up to ensure that all action items are complete and delivered within agreed time frame
  • Be part of strategic discussions with key suppliers with other senior leaders of the organisation
  • Act as an internal point of escalation for any impediments or issues which may arise from time to time with respect to internal projects, compliance matters with suppliers
  • Act as a point of contact with suppliers for any enhancements and statements of work which may be required by suppliers
  • Support the business planning and forecasting processes

About You


As an Operational Engagement Manager, you will bring with you your ability to translate technical specifications and present to business leaders in a self-assured and uncomplicated manner.

Furthermore, you will possess skill to interpret technical requirements and liaise with technical experts in a manner which demonstrates superior understanding and knowledge.
