An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate ITSM Specialist to join the Defence Assurance Team.


The opportunity:


As an ITSM Specialist you will be responsible for End-to-end support of Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Asset and Configuration Management and Capacity Management activities for all Defence Assurance Operations teams.


  • Negative Vetting 1_
  • AGSVA security clearance to be considered. This role will require you to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance._
Your key responsibilities and major tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountability for Service Management functions across the Defence Assurance and project Delivery teams.
  • Driving process improvements across multiple towers
  • Leading Service Management process education across greater Telstra groups-
  • Provide advice and support in functional area as a discipline specialist.
  • Coordinate Acceptance into Service activities across multiple groups.
  • Maintain and update documentation across multiple process'
  • Actively share knowledge and experience to help others learn, deliver and improve processes and ways of working.
  • Support development and delivery of training to improve stakeholder understanding of process and procedures
  • Provide input into process and documentation that describes how technology networks, infrastructure, products and services operate so that there is an accurate and up to date resource to help peers
  • Uses sound interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver on short-term customer/team/project priorities

  • ITIL fundamentals
  • Assurance ticketing systems (service manager / service now)
  • Project Delivery
  • Hold a minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance
