Our client has a full-time opportunity for a Business Development Specialist, to join the team.

This role will report into the Sales Manager with the responsibility of managing customer relationships and daily industrial sales activities within an allocated sales territory to ensure sales targets and profitable growth are achieved.


Describe the client:

Position Description:

  • Managing relationships and contracts for all customers in designated sales territory to develop a long term and commercially profitable relationship.
  • Generating and maintaining a profitable and sustainable business sales / account
  • Growing your territory through identifying and winning new business opportunities, securing and increasing gas / liquid sales where profitable and within company guidelines, and entering into contracts with new and existing customers.
  • Maintaining profitable sales through account selection and price rise implementation
  • Producing proposals, detailed costings and contract documents to ensure all transactions deliver maximum profit to the business.
  • Monitoring market trends through personal contact with clients and suppliers and attendance at industry meetings and seminars.
  • Maintaining the relationships and performance of depots within designated territory.
