We are currently seeking skilled maintenance fitters to become part of our client's workforce. This position is essential for ensuring the continuous operation of machinery and equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Available Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 7am - 3pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 3pm - 11pm
  • Night Shift: 11pm - 7am

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all equipment and facilities meet quality and performance standards.
  • Perform maintenance tasks (breakdown, preventative, and proactive) efficiently to uphold the health and reliability of machinery and services.
  • Report any breakdowns or downtime to your supervisor promptly and assist in identifying root causes to prevent future issues.
  • Support and contribute to an effective preventative maintenance program.
  • Communicate all maintenance activities, improvements, and modifications during your shift to the incoming team using a shift log.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in shift work to support business needs as required.
  • Provide quick and effective responses to after-hours breakdowns to maximize equipment uptime.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of a Mechanical Trade Certificate; an Advanced Certificate is preferred.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings, particularly in high-speed, 24/7 production environments.
  • A minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing context.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
