As Officer, Accounts Payable, you will be a key member of the Financial Accounting Team within Strategic Planning, Finance and Performance Branch.
Accounting operations is primarily concerned with processing expenditure transactions and other cash movements through the general and subsidiary ledgers of Finance One (i.e.accounts payable and receivable, taxation and general accounts such as credit cards, petty cash and banking).
As Officer, Accounts Payable, your focus is on having efficient processes such as the use of well configured financial systems and data structures, and standard work practices that ensure high levels of data integrity.
As the successful candidate, it is important that you possess an understanding of the transactions undertaken across AUSTRAC and work closely with business units to ensure that the source documents are processed correctly.
If you have a strong communication and organisational skills, we encourage you to applyWhat are we looking for:Experience in FMIS software, Finance One, e-invoices and Microsoft Excel, is highly regarded but not essential.
