About the role


Reporting to the CFO this is an opportunity to work with a fantastic team at Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) and contribute to maintaining accurate membership data within our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and basic financial records, in order to successfully support the Victorian farmers.

The CRM Finance Officer is responsible for performing a variety of client relations, administrative and financial duties.

In undertaking the role of Policy Advisor, responsibilities will include:

CRM

  • Prepare internal reports from the CRM (Zoho) system
  • Administer membership invoicing and payments process
  • Coordinate membership queries
  • Administer, update and maintain membership data
  • Reconcile the ZOHO system with the accounting system each month
  • Assist other work areas and teams with CRM reporting
  • Administer CRM user access and licenses
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and coordinate systems maintenance, troubleshooting and updates
  • Provide training to other VFF team members on the use of Zoho as required including facilitating Zoho CRM training sessions with new VFF employees as part of onboarding processes.
  • Provide assistance to the CFO in relation to budgeting and financial reporting, invoicing and receipting processes, transactions and reporting as required also including in Zoho Books.

Financial

  • Prepare and send receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience using and / or overseeing client relationship management systems such as Zoho, MS Dynamics or Salesforce
  • A solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures including crediting and debiting appropriate accounts, posting entries to ledger accounts, and reconciling accounts
  • Practical experience with accounting software (such as QuickBooks), spreadsheets (such as MS Excel), and databases (such as MS Access)
  • Able to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a team environment and with upper management
  • High level of critical thinking and logical analysis
  • Sound organisational and time management skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines
