This role is a Permanent position on a day shift even time sportsman's roster, DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).
As a Senior Operator in Mine Services, you will be responsible for executing operation activities as directed by the Mine Services Supervisor and in accordance with BBM standards and operating procedures.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Execute development mining activities including operational tasks related to clearing, overburden stripping, ore bench preparation and rehabilitation Work with physical assets, plant, and equipment as defined by the operations standards and operating procedures Maintain effective communication of equipment status, adhere to defined standard procedures, and apply safe work practices Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents, near misses and hazardsABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Prior experience in a similar operational role within the Mining Industry Demonstrated contribution to a work team and leadership behaviours Understands and drives productivity without compromising safety Experience with any of the following equipment or similar: Dozer (Cat D11 and/or Komatsu 475), Loader (Cat 992 and/or 993), Surface Miner (Vermeer T1255 and/or T1655Qualifications for this position are:
