Our state government client is seeking an Asset Officer/Store Person for a 9-month casual contract in their Belmont office.

$35-45 per hour plus Super

ROLE DESCRIPTION / JOB TITLE
Store Person/Asset Officer

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, OR EXPERIENCE

  • Inventory/Asset Management_
1.1 Maintain various computerised registers, tracking mechanisms and databases to manage equipment and assets for Analogue radio networks.

1.2 Manages the integrity of asset and equipment data for reporting and audit requirements on all databases used.

1.3 Provides advice and direction to all locations on handover documentation and asset tracking.


1.4 Monitors and reports on the status of assets and equipment deliveries and dispatch as to track equipment roll out and return of replaced equipment.

1.5 Coordinates the transfer of communication assets for the radio to/from stations and/or applicable locations.

1.6 Driving a forklift and moving and storing palletised equipment onto racks.

1.7 Participate in relevant equipment-specific training as provided, the vendor or manufacturer.

  • Logistics_

1.8 Provides a postal and courier service to all sub-units with the distribution of logistics in support of communication networks.

1.9 Receipts and accounts for all packages and parcels into/out Radio Communications Branch.

1.10 Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of external service providers as required.

1.11 Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, procedures and processes.

  • Administration_
1.12 Updates asset databases for all assets held under the Business Unit's control.

  • Other_

1.19 Understands and complies with information security policies and procedures to ensure information holdings/systems are kept confidential and utilised accurately and reliably.

1.20 Undertakes other duties as directed.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Possession of a current WA driver's licence class "C"

Full working rights within Australia

Current National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months)
