We are looking for a hands-on, caring and passionate full-time Care Manager (Grade 5 RN) for our 40 bed Memory Support Unit in our Marina Home located in Altona North.

Located in the western Melbourne suburb of Altona North, Marina is a 190 bed Home that is centrally located in familiar suburban surroundings, with the convenience of easy access to nearby shops and public transport.

Using your experience in dementia care within residential aged care settings, you will thrive being on the floor with a high performing team to support people living with dementia by providing exceptional care contributing to a safe and caring environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop recommendation plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Contribute to continuous clinical improvement to delivery excellence in care
  • Support residents, families and visitors in a highly professional manner
  • Ensure assessments, care plans and reviews are undertaken appropriately, on time and well documented
  • Manage clinical education and competency of staff
  • Promote and foster a positive, collaborative and diverse culture

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday
  • 0700 – 1500 (or variation depending on operational needs)

  • Two years' experience in a clinical leadership role
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Relevant Nursing Qualifications (Division 1)
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
  • 2024 influenza vaccination
  • NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
