The Company:
Our client is a leading Engineering Infrastructure Advisory firm with an established footprint across Australia,.
Working closely with government departments and asset operators, they ensure the effective management of aged infrastructure across both rail and broader civil networks.
The Role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the role of HR Administrator is to assist the coordination and administration of all employee lifecycle activities.
Following the recent implementation of a new HR platform, this person will also take responsibility for ensuring the effective use of the system across the business, becoming a champion of the technology.
If you are an administrator who is interested to develop a career in HR, you'll be provided with good training from an experienced Manager.
Duties include:
- Supporting HR Manager with the employee lifecycle
- Onboarding/offboarding employees including end to end new starter inductions
- Maintaining internal & external training databases
- Monitoring staff qualifications & competencies to ensure continual compliance of job roles
- Scheduling necessary training courses, medical checks, background checks for all employees
- Creating and issuing new staff contracts
- Maintaining employee records via the company HR Information System (Employment Hero)
- Ensuring compliance
About you:
- Experience using Employment Hero is preferred but not essential
- Tech savvy and able to pick up new software with ease
- Process Driven
- Flexible and Adaptable
- Previous Administration experience is required
