Role description:


Due to a growing portfolio of projects and upcoming tenders, we are now seeking a competent and capable Road Designer to join our team.

With a strong focus on digital innovation, you'll have the chance to contribute to projects locally as well as other states and geographies.


Role accountabilities:

  • Taking responsibility for drafting and modelling deliverables for live projects across highways and rail projects
  • Coordinating design deliverables with our interstate and offshore design centres
  • Collaborating with the wider design team on projects
  • Contributing to designs for all stages of delivery
  • Producing technical drawings, design documentation and models using 12D and OpenRoads
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines

Qualifications & Experience:


First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city shaping projects that change the way we move around our capital.

You are an experienced civil modeler/designer with exposure to highways and road design projects.

You will come to us with:

  • Solid capability in 12D and/or OpenRoads
  • An interest in digital innovation, computational design, automation
  • A collaborative approach that sees you working well with other disciplines
  • Previous experience in road and rail projects
  • Understanding of the design project lifecycle
