This role will provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with strong IFRS technical knowledge and ASX listed reporting experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting on the financial performance and position of the business
  • Manage and participate in the required month, quarter and yearend financial close and reporting activities to ensure accurate record keeping and reporting to stakeholders
  • Maintain an environment of strong internal controls and financial stewardship
  • Undertake adhoc projects to drive business improvement through operational initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and financial performance
  • Manage the external audit process
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Management of FX exposures
  • Management of group taxation obligations and reporting including

Criteria:

  • 5+ years' PQE experience within a large corporate/financial services group or a Senior Manager from the Big CA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
  • Proven working experience managing a small team
  • Experienced in ASX listed reporting is required
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
