Financial Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Manager to join our Governance and Corporate Transactions team at Macquarie. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and oversight of key Finance projects and governance.
As a Financial Control Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development of commercial solutions while managing risk. You will work closely with teams across Finance and the broader Macquarie group to deliver value to key stakeholders, including senior Finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of group-wide policies and frameworks within Finance
- Develop high-quality Board Audit Committee reporting
- Assist other Finance initiatives in an advisory capacity
- Oversee and uplift the Finance control environment
- Commerce/Accounting degree and professional accounting qualifications
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within financial services or professional services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing tasks to execute on key deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels
