The opportunity to join a strong second line risk and compliance function as part of a growing assurance team to assist in navigating the regulatory and operational risk landscape.

  • Work closely with diverse business units to establish and manage robust controls, ensuring compliance with obligations and minimising operational risks.
  • Offer guidance, conduct reviews to the Line 1 teams to provide constructive challenge to enhance the control framework, thereby safeguarding our reputation and fostering a secure operational setting.
  • Deep dive into areas of priority for the business, acting as an additional level of support when necessary. This could be any product, distribution of product, privacy, marketing, or AML.
  • Through your assurance work and control effectiveness testing, you will not only identify potential risks but also uncover opportunities to further strengthen our control environment and drive efficiency.

What you'll need to bring to the role:

  • Risk Management Expertise: Hands-on experience managing risk across a variety of domains, including technology, product, marketing, HR, and data.
  • Consumer-Facing Regulatory Environment: Proven experience operating in highly regulated consumer-facing environments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • An Internal Audit background, or experience already in Assurance would be advantageous
  • Effective Communication & Influence: Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
