About this opportunity:


In this important role, you will contribute to WesCEF's growth and profitability by identifying opportunities to improve Quality management practices and implementing a comprehensive Quality management framework.

The role will require you to balance a 'hands-on' and strategic approach to ensuring that statutory requirements and operational needs are met, and risks are minimised through:

  • Administrating WesCEF's Quality Management System (QMS) and implementing a riskbased assurance program, to ensure operational needs are met, and risks are identified and addressed.
  • Facilitating and undertaking internal and external audits as required;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding the scope, schedule and resource requirements for audits against assurance plans;
  • Implementing regular performance reporting for WesCEF's assurance program and maintaining appropriate scorecards and dashboards;
  • Managing relationships with external providers to ensure ongoing provision of high quality, costeffective Quality assurance services to WesCEF; and
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities for Quality management systems and working with required parties to implement them.
Reporting to our Quality Superintendent, this is a full-time permanent opportunity located at our large production facility in Kwinana. About you:

  • Assurance/Internal Audit exposure, with a strong grasp of assurance principles and approaches;
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and quality systems, along with monitoring and evaluation;
  • Capability to manage and influence stakeholders to deliver on agreed programs and outcomes;
  • An ability to drive change and behaviours in an organisational change environment;
  • Strong organisation skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
  • Advanced report writing and presentation skills;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Safety and/or Quality systems discipline or equivalent.
