About the Role:
The Commercial Portfolio Manager plays a crucial role in Aurizon's Bulk Operations, supporting various operations including rail, road, and port logistics. Responsibilities include partnering with customers and operational teams to achieve strong commercial outcomes, optimizing revenue and customer relationships for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships across all Bulk teams, including regional locations.
- Communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.
- Lead the development of business cases and contracts.
- Design contracts with appropriate incentives for both Aurizon and customers.
- Anticipate business risks and develop long-term solutions.
- Gain internal support for business growth opportunities.
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers.
- Manage day-to-day issues with customers to meet business objectives.
About You:
The ideal candidate is an energetic and resilient commercial lead with a focus on creating value across the customer portfolio. Key qualifications include a degree in Economics or Finance, experience in Transfer Pricing/Profit Shifting, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
