Service Sales:
The Service Sales Consultant will be responsible for meeting assigned sales targets for repairs, retrofits, hoists and other light lifting equipment, spare parts, in-house repairs, general overhauls, and consultation services.
Primarily, the Service Sales Consultant will be required to manage the portfolio of assigned accounts within the defined area, prepare and send offers and win sales orders to meet defined targets.
In addition, the Service Sales Consultant will be required to:- Use the CRM tool to record all customer interactions from offering, communicating, and closing.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the Konecranes and Demag product portfolio.
- Maintain responsibility for sales cases and/or account actions as needed to support activities generated or identified by inside sales, particularly for priority and protect and develop assigned accounts.
- Identify and win orders for projectbased sales of Field Modernisations, new equipment, and CRS products. (SP22M, SP26, SP27 & SP29).
- Assist in delivery of projectbased sales.
- Assist in the renewal process of contract customers with the Service manager or Branch manager.
- Refer opportunities for other products to other sales resources by creating sales cases.
- Reports directly to the Sales Manager.
- Communicates with the Service/Branch manager to manage peaks and troughs of workload in quotations and consultation visits of the contract base customers.
- Works with District resources that may be employed in the area such as BDM, District Administration, and Modernizations
- Work with the required resources in the company such as SCC, local engineering to prepare project sales.
Desirables:
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in servicerelated sales preferred, however equivalent education, experience and training will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to work with computer programs:
- Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Indepth knowledge of KC Service Products desirable
- High degree of organisational ability.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to engage with customers (internal & external) effectively and productively.
