Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for clients, including data entry, reconciliations, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using XERO and related platforms.
  • Preparation: Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS), producing balance sheets, statements, and other financial reports.
  • Client Interaction: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our accounting team, contributing to a productive and cooperative work environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify discrepancies or issues in financial data and collaborate with the team to find solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior bookkeeping or administrative experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeaner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Selfdriven and eagerness to learn office ethics and software such as XERO, Practice Manager and all Practice Manager related software.
