ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Academic Administrator is pivotal in managing the school's timetabling systems using Edval and maintaining academic records within Synergetic. Reporting to the Director of Studies – Senior School, this role involves coordinating class lists, room allocations, and subject adjustments. Key responsibilities include NAPLAN logistics and academic transcript management, ensuring seamless academic operations and communication with parents.

DUTIES

  • Manage and update timetabling through Synergetic
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts promptly
  • Upload marks and academic reports
  • Coordinate academic transcripts and references
  • Organise NAPLAN testing logistics
  • Liaise with parents on NAPLAN matters
  • Collaborate with IT for system maintenance
  • Systems implementation
  • General administration

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient IT skills; experience with Edval, Synergetic, and Google Sheets would be an advantage
  • Detail-oriented in academic record management
  • Strong knowledge of data integrity
  • Strong organisational skills for scheduling
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Educational administration or IT background preferred
  • Experience with timetabling and academic records systems
