Maroondah City council is seeking a Sport and Recreation Project Officer to help deliver key projects and programs for the community.


The successful applicant will support the Sport & Recreation Team Leader and will be responsible for communication with sport & community groups with areas such as facility management, funding programs and club development opportunities.

We are making a difference in local government.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and planning skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to develop effective working relationships with key community stakeholders including sport organisations, community groups, government and non-government agencies.


Applicants must have excellent communication, customer service and computer skills, in particular Pathway, plenty of energy, be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and a commitment to working within a team environment is required.
