A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Administration and Accounts Officer with a multi-national business located in Ipswich.


_ We anticipate that this temporary role will be required for 3-6 months based on current business needs (and longer term opportunities may become available within the company in the future)._
The role will require flexibility to work from either 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Duties will include:

  • Providing a range of administrative support functions in a high volume work environment to support a team of three
  • Answering phones and handling enquiries
  • Maintaining office supplies and filing systems
  • Administer and maintain the database
  • Processing and recording invoices and setting up new suppliers
  • Assisting with end of month accounts processes including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Processing timesheets and wages (Kronos)
  • Maintenance of plant and fuel records
  • Taking meeting minutes (as required)
  • Provide relief back up support for weighbridge operations if/when required (during periods of unplanned leave)
  • Previous experience in administration and accounts processing (debtors and creditors)
  • Previous data entry and payroll experience (advantageous)
  • Experience in an aligned role
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Flexibility with work hours
  • Experience using a finance/ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a small team
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
