About auDA

.au Domain Administration Limited (auDA) oversees Australia's .au domain, acting as the country's Top Level Domain administrator and self-regulatory policy body.

auDA is a not-for-profit organization with over 4,900 members, collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain a trusted .au for Australians and advocate for an open, secure, and global internet.

As part of Australia's critical infrastructure, auDA ensures the .au domain remains secure and accessible for all internet users.

Core functions include:

  • Ensuring stable operation of the .au domain
  • Administering a transparent licensing regime for .au domain names
  • Participating in Internet governance processes

auDA also represents Australia internationally and collaborates with ICANN for global internet coordination.

With a focus on corporate governance and integrity, auDA's board consists of Independent and Appointed/Elected directors adhering to high standards.

The Opportunity

The Nomination Committee seeks applications for three Director positions. Successful candidates will possess skills in strategy, governance, technical knowledge, stakeholder relations, and finance.

Desired personal qualities include collegiality, business judgement, and ethics.

Applications welcome from diverse backgrounds.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo standard checks, and Directors receive remuneration of about $50,000 annually.
