About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified ICT Support Technician to join our team for the efficient operation and management of customer support for deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- At least bachelor's degree or higher qualification required
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar role or 3 years without qualification
- You must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights.
The main responsibilities are as following:
- Providing service and advice, troubleshooting, and providing issue resolution.
- Ensuring agreed levels of service are maintained in the provision of technical support, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnosing faults in defective products and performing repairs to electrical devices within working location.
- Undertaking preventative maintenance and routine repairs of all ICT equipment.
- Installing new equipment and software and provide advice on options for enhancements.
- Performing product debug testing and repair.
- Performing Network configuration reset of ICT equipment i.e. Switches, Routers & other networking equipment for redeployment purposes.
- Data wiping all the ICT equipment including Servers, Storages, Notebooks, Desktops PCs.
- Developing and maintaining site documentation in accordance with our company standards.
- Building custom PC solutions to a variety of client specifications.
- Undertaking infrastructure monitoring and systems maintenance.
- Recommending suitable hardware and software solutions based on industry experience.
- Supporting the internal team by providing new tools and training.
- Staying up to date on the latest developments in technology.
- Considering network availability & disaster recovery for network implementation.
