A newly created permanent role has been established based in Botany (South East Sydney) for a HR Business Partner to provide additional HR support.


About the Role

Reporting into a Senior HR Business Partner (based in VIC), you will provide much needed support across 3 locations in NSW in what is a very heavily unionised industry.

In this role you will be instrumental in leading and supporting all HR related activities whilst continuously seeking improvements and innovative solutions.


Key responsibilities also include:

  • Building strong relationships and trust with leaders and colleagues, offering HR expertise and coaching on people issues;
  • Provide advice to leaders and employees on activities relating to the employee lifecycle and support end to end HR processes including recruitment, systems, onboarding, performance, reward, engagement, DEI, training and development, and offboarding;
  • Lead recruitment processes and all activities associated withrecruitment
  • Assist, support and train local management teams in ensuring Operating Procedures and other local industrial arrangements are developed and maintained in accordance with business policies and objectives, and in liaison with the Industrial Relations;

About You
You will be a seasoned Human Resources professional with a Bachelor's degree in HR.

Ideally, experience of working within industries such as aviation, construction, mining, transport and logistics is highly desirable although demonstrated experience in other highly unionised environments will be considered.

Your communication skills will be second to none coupled with the experience of working in a large complex matrix organisation.


I am keen to hear from current HR Business Partners or even Senior HR Advisors who are looking to step into a Business Partner role.

Please note that this role

will require travel about once a month to the Wollongong region and you can either hire a car or claim mileage.
