The Director Engagement plays a pivotal role in leading stakeholder engagement and advocacy efforts to achieve objectives set out for the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner.
The role will lead the development and implementation of annual project-based strategic and operational stakeholder engagement plans and initiatives.
Convey the long-term aspirations and benefits of often complex, sensitive, and at times contentious matters across diverse stakeholder groups, aiming to remove perceptual barriers and garner support for the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner priorities.

About you
The role requires a high degree of business acumen, with the ability to build strong, effective relationships, with experience influencing and negotiating to deliver outcomes across a diverse range of stakeholders.
Extensive experience in leading the delivery of external affairs and government relations strategies and/or media account management. Ability to excel in a high-pressure environment setting in a relevant senior leadership role, with experience in leading a dynamic fast-paced team.
