As General Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business in order to make sure the business runs in alignment with the MD's goals and vision.

You will be responsible for driving performance, setting budgets and inspiring the team to exceed targets.

Developing the long term strategic goals and plan, carrying out B2B development duties and general account management for the company's large Client base.

An analytical thinker and good problem solver, you'll be a fantastic communicator who leads by example.

You'll be financially and commercially minded and be able to make decisions based on data analysis, prioritising based on the needs of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring and professional development to the team.
  • Create and implement the business commercial and strategic plan, and be responsible for profit & loss, including overseas operations.
  • Maintain core business while executing growth opportunities.
  • Establish a structured multichannel sales framework across the business operations with a focus on building a highperformance sales culture.
  • Manage key sales metrics and alert internal stakeholders of any performance or cost to serve requirements, ensuring action plans are initiated and acted on to resolution.
  • Analyse performance of existing customers, identify the key retention and acquisition accounts for each salesperson.
  • Manage strategic approaches to market at the account level with a keen understanding of leveraging account plans and analytics for marketing success.

Additionally, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Strong people management and leadership experience including employee engagement, training and development, and mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong commercial business acumen with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Welldeveloped analytical, conflict resolution, research, strategic planning, problem solving and negotiation skills to address a range of complex sales issues.
  • Apparel experience is essential.
  • Credible and highly effective at negotiating and influencing at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Have a robust approach to managing your time effectively and ability to work within deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively improve customer service and provide quality care within a structured quality framework, ensuring the business remains customercentric.
