As the Chief Pricing Actuary, you'll play a critical role in developing and executing the General Insurance Pricing Strategy, leading the GI Pricing Actuary team for Zurich Insurance in Australia & NZ, overseeing pricing, portfolio analysis, reinsurance, and implementing underwriting and pricing strategies for all business lines.

Key to your success - let's evolve together

  • Fully qualified actuary with extensive experience in pricing General Insurance products. Exposure to personal lines or retail insurance is a plus.
  • Actuarial degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in Actuarial Pricing concepts, including reserving concepts, backed by advanced statistical and actuarial modeling skills.
  • Proven track record of business growth and driving change in a complex insurance landscape.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of nurturing high-performing teams, coaching, mentoring, and managing talent effectively.
  • Strong market presence with the ability to foster relationships internally and externally.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, open to innovation, resilient to setbacks, and committed to continuous improvement and learning.
