The role:

We currently need a dynamic
learning and development coordinator to join our People and Performance family for a
15-months fixed-term, whilst our current superstar gets acquainted with her new baby

Duties:

  • Coordinate and monitor Learning and Development activities, staff events, and other People & Performance programs, while also serving as the first point of contact for training inquiries.
  • Proactively analyze and report on corporate training activities, identifying skill gaps, and providing future recommendations.
  • Maintain and improve the Learning Management System in consultation with the line manager, ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Contribute to the delivery of quality Learning & Development services that meet the needs of managers and employees across the organization, with a focus on customer service.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of policies for Learning and Development activities, contribute to the People & Performance business plan, and provide project support to Business Transformation initiatives as required.

Specialist Skills & experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Training and Assessment, Administration or Human Resources or proven experience as a L&D Coordinator.
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of operational methods/ work activities in administering and reporting of learning and development programs.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management systems, evaluations and data analysis.
  • Ability to analyse, review, and report on data.
  • Proven ability to develop procedures to enhance Learning & Development operations.
  • High level interpersonal and conflict resolution skills together with a proven ability to gain cooperation and support of others in meeting objectives.
  • Demonstrated highly developed written and oral communication skills, including drafting of reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Outlook, PC based systems, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel at a high level.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other Divisional groups on project work and activities.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, including ability to meet deadlines, prioritise, plan, coordinate and organise a diverse range of administrative support activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct oneself in professional manner at all times, and work under pressure when required to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing events and functions.
  • Demonstrated research skills in relation to identification of training providers.
