Job Description


Our client is a top biotech company focused on developing innovative therapies in the CNS field. Their goal is to enhance the quality of life for patients globally by providing cutting-edge treatments for neurological conditions. To support their growing product range, they are in search of a skilled and seasoned CNS Market Access Director to join their dynamic team.


As the CNS Market Access Director, you will have a crucial role in creating and implementing market access strategies for the range of CNS products. You will collaborate closely with different teams to ensure the best market access and reimbursement for our revolutionary therapies. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in this role, particularly in launching CNS products for US biotech companies and expanding into the EU market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market access strategies for optimizing reimbursement and access to CNS products in key markets.
  • Work with global and regional teams to align market access initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Conduct market assessments and pricing analyses to guide strategy development.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with important stakeholders such as payers, policymakers, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare providers.
  • Lead the creation of value dossiers, health economic models, and other tools to support product reimbursement and access.
  • Monitor changes in reimbursement policies, healthcare regulations, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Offer strategic guidance and assistance to teams on market access-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree (e.g., PHD, MSc) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market access in the biopharmaceutical sector, specifically with a focus on CNS products.
  • Demonstrated success in a CNS Market Access Director role.
  • Experience in launching CNS products for US biotech firms and expanding into EU markets.
  • Solid grasp of health economics, pricing, reimbursement, and market access principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences effectively.
  • Proven capacity to lead cross-functionally and manage projects in a matrix organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a flair for innovation and creative problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
