About the role
Our Data and Analytics team are at an exciting stage of their journey.
After a couple of years of laying a strong foundation and with some recent big successes, the team is ready to evolve to the next level and that's where this role comes in.
Reporting into the GM Data, Insights and Analytics, the role is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability and quality of our data assets to enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Establish a standard way of operating for supporting our data products
- Scale and maintain efficient data processes, fostering a culture of data integrity, and drive continuous improvement to maximise the value derived from our data resources
- Release management: provide the ownership and coordination for release activities
- Controls & Standards: work in collaboration with Data Engineers and Architects and act as a senior contributor on the design, build, and management of our Data and PBI Platform Data and PBI Platform maintenance: Own the monitoring and maintenance roadmap for our AWS and Power BI platforms
About you
We are searching for a data and analytics / data engineering professional who is at ease delivering in a hands-on and ambiguous environment.
A natural problem solver along with strong planning skills, you'll be adept at building relationships in a highly commercial environment.
- Strong data and cloud industry knowledge and commercial experience with the Cloud (AWS a bonus)
- Understanding of Power BI platform structure and maintenance
- Strong communicator with the ability to manage daytoday operations of the platform, taking accountability for both the team and platform Experience collaborating with several different teams in flexible and agile ways
