  • This role is a dual role, supporting students in classrooms and also supporting the wellbeing of Defence children. A copy of the Defence Role Position Description is below.
We are seeking a

School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our classroom.

Typical duties include:

  • General classroom support;
  • Preparation of resources and clearing learning materials;
  • Using technology to support learning activities; and
  • Administrative duties such as photocopying and filing.

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience as a School Officer and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support;
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
  • An understanding of the work of a classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team; and
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
