About the roleThe Payroll Officer position is pivotal, providing essential support to our business while ensuring timely processing of employee payments. To succeed in this role, extensive experience in handling large payrolls and thorough knowledge of awards and EBA's are required. Responsibilities include:
- End-to-end processing of Sunnyfield payroll
- Maintenance of payroll and time/attendance systems
- Updating and managing payroll records
- Calculating and processing termination and workers' compensation payments
- Payroll reporting for internal and statutory compliance
- Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions
- Liaising with staff and management regarding payroll inquiries
- Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts concerning overtime and shift allowances
- You are committed to making a positive impact on clients' lives, your team, and the local community
- You can lead and collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment with a strong sense of ownership
- You have demonstrated skills in engaging, communicating, and forming partnerships with diverse individuals
- You possess exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- You have previous Payroll experience and expertise in interpreting awards and agreements
