The role you could play


We have an exciting opportunity for a values-driven Team Leader - Community The Team Leader would be responsible for providing support and guidance for Case Work staff, which includes community and outreach services, assessment and referral and withdrawal management unit, to deliver a comprehensive client focused service.


The Salvation Army's Brisbane Recovery Services Centre, known as Moonyah, is a residential program for people recovering from drug, alcohol and gambling addictions.

Key responsibilities

  • Project manage the community education and outreach services including building networks and partnerships as required. All activities support the achievement of the Mission of The Salvation Army
  • Develop and coach direct reports to be a highperforming team
  • Provide oversight community education and outreach activities which develops strong networks and partnerships and builds collaborative and professional relationships with other agencies
  • Demonstrate commitment to the TSA values and mission to foster an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high quality support services
This is a permanent full-time position, located in Red Hill, QLD. Salary and conditions are conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 6 Award.

  • Tertiary qualifications within Community Services, Social Work or similar discipline
  • Solid level of experience (minimum 2+ years) in the implementation of case management, groups, and systems for AOD/or complex needs clients
  • Experience working in collaboration with other organisations to develop and tailor programs to meet clients' needs
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience
  • A current QLD Drivers Licence
  • Valid QLD Employee Working with Children Check/Blue Card
  • Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
