We're seeking a Business Development Manager to join our expanding team and champion the QLD market. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and growth in their territory. The role will be out visiting clients, showcasing how immersive technology can change the way we teach and learn or facilitating client visits at our state-of-the-art Lumination Learning Lab sites.

Our Lumination Learning Labs are world-class immersive learning environments we build into schools, allowing students to learn in a brand new way. These environments are the first of their kind in the world, and the BDM will be responsible for bringing this new technology into schools and tertiary institutions in Queensland.

A day on the job will see you:

  • Manage a sales pipeline and achieve sales targets
  • Hunt for new business in your territory
  • Build relationships and a referral network with schools, education leaders and organisations
  • Effectively communicate value proposition of Lumination Learning Labs
  • Manage all client data through Hubspot CRM
  • Take inbound leads through full sales cycle from qualification to close and renewal
  • Be regarded as a thought leader in how immersive learning environments can have a profound impact on student outcomes

To impress us you'll need...

  • 3+ years in sales, business development or similar role
  • Highly skilled hunter and closer
  • Genuine in nature and eager to build meaningful, trusting relationships
  • Hungry for success and ambitious for progression
  • Exceptional reporting capabilities and a deep understanding of client needs
  • Well presented and confident in approach
  • Drivers license and ability to obtain a Working with Children's Check
  • Background selling in Education is highly regarded
