Position

The position of Business Development Manager has now become available operating out of the Brisbane office. The position will be primarily bringing onboard new business and managing existing relationships. The candidate will be dealing with tier 1 and 2 builders, and be involved with multi-million-dollar projects and developments across SEQ. This role reports directly into the Regional Sales Manager who is based in the Head Office.

On Any Given Day Your Duties Will Involve

  • New business development and account management of existing clients
  • Develop client relationships with your team and promote the sale of all products and services
  • Setting client appointments and conducting presentations
  • Develop a network of current and potential business partners
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and dynamic product presentations
  • Develop a sound knowledge of company products and technologies

Candidate

In order to be considered for the position it is essential for all candidates to have prior sales experience. Experience within the construction industry, with involvement on large projects and developments will be highly regarded

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Demonstrate

  • Direct sales experience within the steel industry would be highly regarded
  • Sales experience with timber, concrete, scaffolding or formwork will be beneficial
  • Relationship management skills
  • Driven to develop new business through clients and their own network.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Based in Brisbane
