The Opportunity

Working in our Nursing pool will see you assigned shifts across multiple departments relevant to your experience, in order to support the operation of the hospital.

This role will suit someone who has the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate patient care, along with the ability to manage rapidly changing situations that affect patient care and workload.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 12 months relevant post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Enrolled nurses will be medication endorsed and IV qualified
  • Strong Clinical Skill set
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with care and attention to detail
  • Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $ $38.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD Enrolled Nurses Level 1-2)

The Hospital

St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital is a 203-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We've been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region's first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department.

The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics. We have been focused on delivering high-quality patient care and practising the Ramsay Way philosophy of 'People Caring for People' since 1964.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
